The workout went smoothly, with Orange demonstrating that his injury is unlikely to hinder his rookie season.
"A 1.68-second 10-yard split is elite for any defensive tackle, but for a player coming off a quad injury that wiped out his pre-draft process, it's a statement," Pauline wrote.

Pauline reports that Orange measured 6-foot-2 and 321 pounds, impressed with a 31.5-inch vertical jump, 27 bench press reps, a 5.15-second 40-yard dash, and fluid movement throughout the drills.
"His 10-yard split came in between 1.68 and 1.70 seconds, a terrific mark," Pauline added. "His short shuttle time of 4.65 seconds was also impressive."
Nicknamed "Big Citrus," Orange spent four seasons at Iowa State, totaling 66 tackles, seven tackles for loss, one sack, and two passes defensed, according to Sports Reference. In 2025, he posted 18 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, and one pass defensed, earning third-team All-Big 12 honors.
Pauline notes that Orange is projected as a late Day 2 pick or an early Day 3 pick, making him a potential value pick for teams like the 49ers looking to bolster their defensive line. While San Francisco doesn't own a third-round draft pick, the team has four fourth-round selections.
