Weeks entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor in 2008. After failing to latch onto a team and being out of football for two seasons, he signed with the Houston Texans in 2010. Weeks spent 15 seasons in Houston, becoming the longest-tenured player in franchise history, before signing a one-year contract with the 49ers in March 2025.
During the 2025 season, Weeks appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the 49ers. As a long snapper, his primary contributions were on special teams, where he recorded two tackles. His consistency during the 2025 season earned him a Pro Bowl selection for the second time in his career, following his 2015 selection.
Over 16 NFL seasons, Weeks has appeared in 261 games, including a franchise-record 244 games with the Houston Texans. His career totals include 35 tackles and one fumble recovery.
