The prominent 49ers fanbase in Southern California makes it difficult for ticket sellers to predict precisely how many of "The Faithful" will show up, as their estimates are often based on ticket buyers' zip codes. In reality, the projection of 62 percent could be underestimated.
The ease of traveling from the Bay Area to Inglewood also works in the 49ers' favor, regularly turning road games into de facto home-field advantages for head coach Kyle Shanahan's team.
"It's huge. It really is huge," fullback Kyle Juszczyk said this week during a radio interview. "It makes all the difference. When you're on the road, in a loud environment, and it makes it hard to communicate, it makes it hard to hear the snap count, it truly does make a difference in the performance of your offense because communication is everything."
Tickets for the game are averaging $348 on Vivid Seats, with StubHub listing prices starting at $198.
The 49ers are looking to rebound after a 23-17 Week 2 loss to the Minnesota Vikings as they prepare for their first NFC West showdown of the season. San Francisco is currently favored by 7.5 points in the matchup.
