Aiyuk (6-0, 200) was initially selected by the 49ers in the first round (25th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. Over the past four seasons (2020-23), he has appeared in 62 games (60 starts) and registered 269 receptions for 3,931 yards (14.6 average) and 25 touchdowns. He has also started in nine postseason contests and added 24 receptions for 393 yards (16.4 average) and one touchdown.
Aiyuk earned Associated Press Second-Team All-Pro honors in 2023. In 16 games (all starts), he tallied 75 receptions for a career-high 1,342 yards (17.9 average) and seven touchdowns. His 1,342 yards ranked seventh in the NFL and marked his second-consecutive 1,000-yard season, making him the first 49ers wide receiver to register back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons since Anquan Boldin in the 2013-14 seasons. His 17.9 yards per reception was the second-highest mark in the NFL.
A 26-year-old native of Reno, NV, Aiyuk attended Arizona State University for two seasons (2018-19), where he appeared in 25 games and registered 98 receptions for 1,666 yards and 11 touchdowns. As a senior in 2019, he earned Third-Team All-America honors after appearing in 12 games and recording 65 receptions for 1,192 yards and eight touchdowns. Aiyuk transferred to Arizona State after two seasons (2016-17) at Sierra (Rocklin, CA) College, where he appeared in 20 games and recorded 89 receptions for 1,533 yards and 19 touchdowns.
