"It's great," an appreciative Nick Bosa said before Wednesday's practice. "I think we have the best traveling fan base overall. Pittsburgh was impressive, and I think we'll take over L.A."
That has certainly been the case in recent years. There are a lot of 49ers fans in Southern California. Pair that with a short flight from the Bay Area, and it's easy to understand why The Faithful often takes over the Rams' home venue.
The 49ers making a road game feel like a home matchup has contributed to the team's recent success against the Rams. San Francisco will look to win its ninth consecutive regular-season game against Los Angeles, a streak that dates back to 2019. Maybe it's fitting that the 49ers will wear their home jerseys on Sunday.
The 49ers and Rams are the only undefeated teams in the NFC West, so Sunday's winner will take an early division lead.
