Some of Lance's teammates have a good sense of humor about the chatter. On Tuesday, wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk posted an offseason video of himself catching three passes from the 49ers' second-year quarterback.
The caption jokingly reads: "The only three throws from the day, his arm got fatigued after that..."
It appears that Aiyuk has been keeping up with the offseason overreactions. Other teammates found it amusing.
"Caption on point," wrote fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
Tight end George Kittle responded with a couple of laughing emojis, followed by a round of applause. Then, tackle Trent Williams added three laughing emojis of his own.
It sounds like Lance's teammates don't think much of the reports, which reaffirms 49ers fans' belief that the whole storyline is being overblown.
H/t to Rohan Chakravarthi for the find.
