49ers rookie defensive end Romello Height needed a cart to leave the field, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
According to Maiocco, the medical staff appeared to be working on both Height's right leg and both his arms. He was lifted onto the cart, and practice ended shortly thereafter.
The 49ers later announced, though, that Height was cramping up.
Defensive end Nick Bosa raved about how quickly Height, a third-round pick, has learned defensive coordinator Raheem Morris' defense.
"I've never seen a guy come in and get the scheme as quickly and seamlessly as he has," Bosa said on KNBR on Monday morning, via David Bonilla of 49erswebzone.com. "Even when vets come in who haven't played in this scheme, he's gotten it quicker than I did. Just the way he picked it up, it seems like second nature to him."
The 49ers were missing defensive lineman Andrew Farmer II (back), offensive tackle Vederian Lowe (high-ankle sprain), defensive tackle Gracen Halton (knee) and wide receiver Christian Kirk (calf strain) at Monday's practice.
