49ers drop to 1-12 with overtime loss to Jets

On Sunday, the 49ers squandered their best chance to avoid a 1-15 season by losing an 11-point, fourth-quarter lead in a 23-17 overtime loss to a fellow featherweight, the New York Jets, at Levi's Stadium. The game-winning drive was set up after 49ers running back Carlos Hyde was stuffed on 4th-and-2 at New York's 37-yard line on the first drive of overtime. New York had sent the game to overtime on a 50-yard field goal by Nick Folk with 38 seconds left.
