Joe Thuney is arguably better than Nelson and got traded for a 4th with no contract at all.

I'm aware that multi-player trades (in fact, MUCH bigger multi-player trades than what I'm proposing) were more common in the olden days, but that doesn't mean one can't happen today.

The main reason they're rare is because how often does a team have a firesale in the middle of the season with several good players on expiring contracts? The Colts are in a pretty unique position. One season ago they were pushing their chips in, now they fired their GM and are having a firesale.

My main point was to the other poster who acted like that's not nearly enough of an offer for those three players. It is objectively more than enough. All three players are on expiring contracts. None of them play QB, LT, edge rusher, or shut down corner. Downs is not a #1 WR.

If the Colts are looking for a 2nd for Nelson, a 3rd for Buckner and a 4th for Downs, and all are expiring contracts and one team is willing to offer the picks for all three, why not get it all done in one trade?

Under no circumstances can Lynch watch KC make this move. We can not let them get the upper hand on us again just to save draft picks. If Wilson is available, we have to make sure we have the best offer on the table to complete a trade.

Depends on the asking price. If KC is willing to give up a lot then they should absolutely watch KC make that move. This is not a high volume WR offense and if the asking price is a 1st rd pick i don't feel like investing 3 of your last 4 first round picks (Pearsall, Stirbling, Wilson) on receivers is wise.

Well, had Kittle not fumbled (and you could argue that he just risked everything because time was running out, because they needed 2 scores), he very well could've cost them the game. It would've been a one score game if he hadn't missed the XP after all.
