I say get Nelson and structure a long term deal to fix the left guard. They've ignored the OL long enough. Will Shanahan agree to spend the money on Nelson? IF you add Buckner and Nelson is that the answer or do you add Buckner and Mack and have a highly effective DL the rest of this season in an effort to win the SB and then adjust at left guard at you need to? Perhaps move Puni over to LG? Interested to see what others think.
I'm all about getting Nelson, but Kyle has said he doesn't believe in investing in the O line. His philosophy is coaching up mediocre players.
Kyle has never said this.

If it's a long term building block trade I prefer Quinton Johnston at wr. And I am looking at chop Robinson.

1. Sign Azeez Ojulari off of LV practice squad(replacing Khalid Kareem)
2. Trade for Ladd Mcconkey (replacing Cowing). He gives us in the passing game what we miss when CMC is hurt/out. Also could serve as our PR replacing Cowing. While Ladd has been dinged up a bit I dont think he missed more than 3 or so games in his career.
I dont see any reasonable options in tbe secondary. Only reasonable player I can see as a semi possible trade candidate is Minkah Fitzpatrick. He was to become available id be all over it.

So you want an injury prone receiver to come to the most injury prone team of the league.

Why would the Dolphins trade a young pass rusher still on his first contract??? Not like they have a bunch of superstars lining up to get paid.
