The threat of Bijan Robinson running the ball was likely the reason they didn't blitz more. When Robinson gets rolling, he can wreck a game by himself/

The guy's acceleration is out of this world. Neven seen a player get to top speed as quick as he does.
I think Atlanta is a force to reckon with. I think they might win their division and they're going to be a force in the playoffs.

The Penix needs space, it needs a clean pocket. A dirty pocket makes the Penix prematurely evacuate.
Its probably a good thing we lost on Sunday. If we go into the bye 7-0 the FO might have a false sense of confidence about how good we are, even with the injuries. This is a perfect reality check right before the bye week assessment and trade deadline.

This is a coping mechanism. The same one I'm using btw. Also I think this loss lights fire under their ass when they face LV and Dallas in the coming weeks.

I kept thinking about how we should've won that game, but the reality is: 6-1, atop the division, second in the conference, incoming trades, with A LOT of guys coming back from injury.

I don't think we have seen this team play its best football yet this season. It's exciting when you think about it like that.

You are correct except our problem isn't always guys coming back from injury but rather when will they get injured again. Fat Deebo with a hammy. Old Evans with the Achilles. Ragged CMC with the thigh. Bosa with leg issues. Sure I expect Robinson and Stribling to come back strong but the rest of our core guys have a chance of going down again…

Deebo isn't fat. He came to camp in great shape this year. I like your optimism for Stribling but realistically we can't expect too much from him. He's not expected back until December and it will take a couple games at least to get back in actual game shape.

No they're not. 9ers s**tty game plan made Penix look better than he is. It's like Shanahan and Morris didn't watch any film of Penix the week leading up to the game. New Orleans absolutely destroyed Atlanta in their house and I know Morris is much better than Brandon Staley, or is he?

The turnovers and penalties are what really caused the Niners to lose. he defense wasn't great but they still would have won without the mistakes. Take away one INT, one fumble and several penalties by the defense that kept Falcons drives alive and the game would have been a fairly easy win.

I still say that Bates INT was incomplete. When he caught the ball one foot was up before he went out of bounds. That was straight b******t, but the other turnovers I can accept.

But the defense unable to stop Atlanta's short passing game was frustrating as hell. You notice whenever there's good Safety coverage, offenses have a hard time getting the short passing game going. 49ers Safeties just seem loss and a step behind when teams start getting into a rhythm.
