Curious signing. Kyle must either be satisfied Pettis has a better work ethic now or the WR room is in worse shape than anyone is saying.

Because I lean homer, I'll go with Shanahan thinks he is now a useful player. He can serve as a kick returner and spare Deebo the extra wear-and-tear.

Wasn't his problem that he was soft & would often alligator arm passes when going across the middle? Lasted in the league til his 30th birthday so must be doing something right.
