Sure, some injuries you can't prevent (like Warner's last year), but this is way past being a trend.
Something is clearly off with the team.
This comes up whenever our injuries are mentioned
It has even been talked about during games by the broadcasters a few times
The 49ers believe in dynamic stretching instead of static stretching. You will never see a group of 49ers in a circle stretching and holding the stretch. They believe in warming up via activity instead.
SF v PHI approach was a big talking point and we had Hargreaves and Tartt who played on both teams comment on it
Other players pushed back on the idea
It's funny cause I've never warmed up more in my life than my 2 years in SF

IMO I say try going back to static stretching...it cant be any worse
Worth a shot, I also think it's not just the S/T department but the medical staff overall. Also it's relying on older players that can't stay on the field to magically stay on the field.
the development of the roster at those impact positions has been dogs**t for years. It's football and you're only as good as the next man up and overall it's not great with those perimeter position groups.

The exercise science data shows that structured warm ups featuring dynamic stretching is better at preparing the body for football and preventing injuries. Static stretching is a mobility tool used to improve flexibility, not prepare the body up for football.
I agree with NY. I have more concerns with the medical team than the strength and conditioning team.
Trying to pin the injury problems on this one person doesn't seem much different than the substation theories, especially since no one seems to be able to identify what he's doing wrong and the problem started before he got here.
2025 #4 Most Injured < 12-5, Lost NFC Divisional
2024: #1 most injured < 6-11
2023: #29 most injured ? 12-5, lost SB
2022: #9 most injured ? 13-4, lost NFCCG
2021: #3 most injured <10-7, Lost NFCCG
2020: #1 most injured < 6-10
2019: #6 most injured ? 13-3, lost SB
2018: #4 most injured < 4-12
I will Just drop this right here. Top 6 most injured 6 of 8 years. Top 10 1year and one healthy year. Playoffs in in 4 of the big injury years says a lot about the Coaches and Players that were healthy.
At this point, just hire people from the Rams training staff because they're always so lucky with injuries. They have two big injuries now, but short-term and it didn't affect their game(s) yet because they played the Giants without their best players,Whereas we could easily drop the Denver game and Seattle game without Bosa, who absolutely destroyed Seattle last year. Lucky again, the timing of the injuries matter almost as much as the injuries themselves
At some point you have to do something. I don't buy the emf stuff is the reason for this, but hell, I think you have to move the practice facility, regardless of the cost, just to satiate the fan base. You should also replace the training staff or have them scrutinized by sports sciences professionals to see if there is anything that the team can do to improve. It is clear the 49ers are looking into it, but damn, this is a peculiar situation. Burn some sage, slaughter a chicken (sorry Chicken lovers), call Madame Ruth down on Canal Street in New Orleans, pay off your debts to the Yakuza, give Jed some good advice, get rid of the Black Jersey, ship Aiyuk, and whatever the hell else it takes to remove *waves his hands in front of him* all of this s**t is.
