It's a fine line between guys toughing out what appears to be minor injuries and preventing them from going back in. How many minor ankle sprains have guys returned to games with over the years and end up doing fine? Hundreds? Thousands?
All I know is we're a long way away from amputating fingertips to allow someone to go back in to a game.
