DT positions arent interchangeable. Both Buck and Osa are natural 3 techs. Someone playing nose or 2i is going to be out of position

It's going to be interesting what Morris can do when he gets players back from IR. Dre coming back makes a big difference paired up with Fred their speed and violence set the tone. The D line made Stafford uncomfortable and caused inaccuracy and Int's. Our DB's held up pretty good except for the Nacua missed tackle. Barring injuries this could become a very good defense. Time will tell but at least Morris made adjustments to stop the Lambs run game.Go Niners
The defensive front seven has always been decent to good since the beginning of the ShanaLynch era, its always been the defensive backfield thats been suspect. I'm hoping Raheem can change that to a more dominat pass defense (meaning Great DLine and Great DB's) and less of a focus on the LB's.
Don't get me wrong, I still want good LB's, but instead of two all-pro DLinemen, I'd rather have 1 all pro DLineman and 1 all-pro DB.
We might have them but they're on IR. Won't know until healed up and playing
totally agree with you though

Bosa makes the D line respectable. He's even massively more important than Warner because his of his win rate, in turn helps out the secondary. The Rams weren't prepared and didn't place enough stock in this game. It's a glorified 4th preseason game. I know it counts in the win/loss column but it's one game. What's funny is the Rams are gonna miss Verse more than they know 😆

Was the NE vs Sea game a glorified 4th preseason game too? I doubt the players felt that way.

Yeah but they won with a backup on short notice and a bunch of backups on defense so let's keep it in perspective. Also, a full week and a half for Drew to work with the ones and there won't be much, if any drop off at all from Darnold. Everyone knows Lock has insane arm talent. Defense will keep them in every game. Offense will be a lot sharper week 2 guaranteed. Play makers all healthy so they should turn in a better performance against AZ who has a suspect defense. Chargers are actually horrible to tell ya the truth I wasn't at all shocked by the Cards win

I'm not making anything up. Emmanwori and Okada took the game off for an extra week of rest. Both should both be back this week. Drew Lock was thrown in first time working with the ones and put up enough points to win it. I said in a post last week before the games that defense will win a lot of these early games. That's what they did, they leaned heavily on the D. Rylie Mills gonna be good and he's already cracked the rotation early at DT with Williams and Murphy.
With the Niners it's always been about health but I hate using that excuse myself. I feel dirty using injury as an excuse for a loss. If you're a true contender you're supposed to be able to win with your second unit if you draft well. If you get consecutive years of poor drafting, aging veterans and subsequent injuries and it has become a pattern, maybe they need to hire a proven GM to inject some talent into the roster. I know Kyle and Lynch have good intentions but he isn't always a great drafter.

The Seahawks were down 1 starter , not 4 like you previously were saying or down to their 2nd string like you are saying now. Cut the s**t
