San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans left Sunday's practice early, appearing frustrated as he removed his pads. Evans is not participating in Tuesday's practice, although he is among several players getting some work in on a side field.
Evans had previously missed time due to a quad strain. It remains unclear whether this latest development is related to that injury.
Update: The 49ers announced that Evans is dealing with a groin injury.
Evans joins several teammates on the side field, including wide receiver Christian Kirk (calf strain), guard Dominick Puni, fullback Kyle Juszczyk (finger fracture), and quarterback Kurtis Rourke (rib). There was also no sign of defensive end Nick Bosa (soreness, tendinitis) as practice began.

Running back Christian McCaffrey and tight end George Kittle, both of whom returned to practice on Sunday, are in uniform and participating. This marks Kittle's second consecutive practice after the 49ers activated him from the active/physically unable to perform (PUP) list on Sunday.
The 49ers are preparing for their preseason finale, a Thursday matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium. Afterward, San Francisco will shift its focus to the regular-season opener against the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia.
