The San Francisco 49ers kicked off their first practice following Thursday night's preseason win over the Los Angeles Chargers as the team prepares for its final exhibition game, a road matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The good news is that several injured players returned to practice Saturday.
Running back Jordan James has missed much of training camp with a rib fracture, but he is suited up and participating in Saturday's practice. He joins running back Kaelon Black, who returned this past week and played against the Chargers after dealing with an adductor injury.
Right guard Dominick Puni (concussion) and defensive tackle C.J. West (concussion) also returned to practice.
New 49ers injuries emerge
The 49ers announced that rookie wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling and cornerback Deommodore Lenoir are dealing with shoulder injuries. Both players are considered day-to-day. Stribling has been a training camp and preseason standout.
New injuries: WR De'Zhaun Stribling (shoulder) and CB Deommodore Lenoir (shoulder) are day-to-day.
Returning to practice: RB Jordan James (ribs), RG Dominick Puni (concussion) and DT CJ West (concussion).

Cornerback Renardo Green, who suffered a hamstring injury during Thursday night's preseason game against the Chargers, did not practice Saturday.
Other 49ers still missing from practice
Defensive end Nick Bosa (tendinitis, soreness) also did not practice. Offensive lineman Robert Jones (calf), who did not play on Thursday night, remained sidelined as well.
Running back Christian McCaffrey does not appear set to practice, but was seen working out on the side.
