San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings was part of some drama during the team's Week 12 win over the Carolina Panthers. He retaliated after the game against safety Tre'von Moehrig, who struck him below the belt during the matchup.

Moehrig received a one-game suspension without pay for the incident, while Jennings was fined $12,172.


Now, another opponent is calling out the 49ers' wideout. Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Shelby Harris offered blunt criticism of Jennings, accusing him of trash talk after Browns defensive tackle Maliek Collins—Jennings' former teammate—suffered an injury.

"He's a hoe," Harris told reporters after the game. "I want that known. I see why he got punched in the nuts, because he said some things that you should not say to another man—ever. But I don't respect it because you say that, and then run behind your O-line [for protection].

"That's some real soft s--t, and I want that known. I see exactly why they punched him in the nuts. I'm surprised nobody has punched him in the jaw yet."


The 49ers defeated the Browns 26-8 at Huntington Bank Field on Sunday. San Francisco now enters its Week 14 bye and will return to action on December 14 against the Tennessee Titans.

Unfortunately, the Browns defender's remarks surfaced after Jennings had already spoken with reporters, leaving no opportunity to ask the 49ers receiver about the comments.


Browns superstar pass rusher Myles Garrett also chimed in on Jennings.

"I can't speak for how he was raised, but if you have nothing good to say, don't say something to somebody," Garrett said, per ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi. "So, he had a lot to say that was demeaning and disparaging towards some of our players. And I was just trying to separate everybody. And I tried to go up and ask for what the problem was, and then he started coming at me and, I mean, some guys just roll like that.

"I don't feel like that belongs in the game. But, hey, if that works for him and them, then more power to him. But I'm just trying to keep my guys focused on the game and not worried about stuff outside of it because we're focused on what's on the field."

Jennings finished the game with four catches for 39 yards and a touchdown on six targets.
