Burford, who has seen practice reps at tackle during training camp, is looking to expand his versatility following the departure of swing tackle Jaylon Moore to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency.
Under the new deal, Burford is set to earn a $1.265 million base salary, along with $510,000 in per-game bonuses and a $500,000 bonus. He appeared in 15 games last season, playing 113 offensive snaps (12%) and 71 special teams snaps (18%), per Pro Football Reference.
A fourth-round pick out of UT-San Antonio in 2022, Burford started 29 games over his first two seasons with San Francisco but did not start a game in 2024.
H/t to Logan Ulrich of NFL Trade Rumors for the find.
