Safety Ji'Ayir Brown sustained a groin injury during the game. Fortunately, the injury is not serious, and Brown is considered day-to-day.
Linebacker Dee Winters, who left the game with a neck injury, is also considered day-to-day.
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw made his long-awaited return after 10 months recovering from a torn Achilles. However, he exited in the third quarter due to knee soreness.
"The knee kind of just kind of felt a little weird, so I just wanted to protect myself a little bit," Greenlaw explained after the game. "Yeah, just knee kind of didn't feel right, so everything kind of got a little tight. Just gotta make sure I use precaution on it."
Shanahan confirmed that Greenlaw's knee and Achilles checked out fine on Friday morning.
"He should be good going forward, but he'll also be day-to-day," Shanahan said.
Other injury updates
Left tackle Trent Williams has missed four consecutive games due to an ankle injury. Shanahan acknowledged the veteran's frustration with the slow recovery process.
"He's trying to get back, but it's been a frustrating injury for him," Shanahan said. "It hasn't healed like we would like. Hopefully, it can happen these 10 more days before our next game. Hopefully, that gives it a better chance.
"But Trent's doing everything he can to get back, but he is injured, and with the injury, there is a chance he will get back, but it has to start recovering, and it's been a lot slower than anticipated."
Defensive end Nick Bosa returned to action after missing three games due to hip and oblique injuries. Shanahan reported no setbacks for the All-Pro defender.
"No report of anything today, so it was awesome to get Nick back, and he really helped us," Shanahan said. "And it was a good sign that they didn't tell me about anything today."
