Injury Notes
No Parsons for Cowboys: The Cowboys have ruled out edge rusher Micah Parsons for Sunday's game.
"I just saw that on the way over here, so did a small celebration before I walked in," head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Friday. "But that's it. It makes things better, but still a lot of issues to deal with. He's a hell of a player."
Jennings still out: Wide receiver Jauan Jennings missed Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a hip injury. He has yet to practice this week, which led to him being ruled out.
Deebo and Kittle practice: Wide receiver Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle were on the field for a second straight day after missing Wednesday's practice. Samuel was recently hospitalized with pneumonia, while Kittle has been managing a foot injury.
Regarding Samuel, Shanahan said, "He's gotten better each day, and hopefully, he continues going that way for Sunday. ... [His stamina has] gotten better each day. We've gone slow with him. We didn't push him that hard, knowing what the issue is and stuff. But it has gotten better each day, and that's why I'm hoping that continues for Sunday."
Ailing cornerback: Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir is listed as questionable for Sunday's game due to illness.
Mason sheds the blue jersey: Running back Jordan Mason appears to be progressing from the AC joint sprain he sustained in Week 6, as he no longer sports the blue no-contact jersey he's worn in recent practices. Mason played on Sunday against the Chiefs.
Givens remains sidelined: Defensive tackle Kevin Givens also missed practice this week due to a groin injury.
No Moody yet: Kicker Anders Carlson will likely be elevated from the practice squad again, with Jake Moody (ankle) still sidelined from practice and Matthew Wright (shoulder, back) on injured reserve. Moody isn't expected to return until after the bye week.
Below are Friday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Cowboys, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
