The 49ers opened the practice window for defensive tackle Kalia Davis, who has been on injured reserve since August 27 with a knee injury. The team now has 21 days to activate him from the list.
Several 49ers players are listed as day-to-day following injuries sustained during Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. During Wednesday's practice, linebacker Fred Warner and tight end George Kittle were among those sidelined. Warner left Sunday's game with an ankle injury just before halftime and did not return. Kittle exited with a rib injury but returned.
"My plan is obviously to play (against the Cardinals)," Warner said ahead of Wednesday's practice. "That's my hope. I'm just going to continue to listen to what the training room wants me to do and take it one day at a time."

Defensive tackle Jordan Elliott, who suffered a knee injury against the Patriots, remains day-to-day and was limited in practice. Safety Talanoa Hufanga, who missed Sunday's game due to an ankle injury sustained in practice last week, was also limited.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan mentioned that Wednesday's practice was lighter for some players due to the heat. Temperatures reached 96 degrees in Santa Clara at the start of practice. The short turnaround between Sunday's Week 5 matchup and the 49ers' Week 6 game against the Seattle Seahawks next Thursday at Lumen Field was also taken into consideration.
Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Cardinals, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
