As expected, Arik Armstead has been ruled out of this weekend's game, having missed practice throughout the week due to knee and foot injuries. Head coach Kyle Shanahan anticipated the unavailability of his defensive lineman against the Seahawks.
Tight end Ross Dwelley has also been ruled out, having suffered a high-ankle sprain that will sideline him for multiple games.
Also missing Friday's practice were guard Spencer Burford, cornerback Darrell Luter, wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud, and running back Elijah Mitchell. All except McCloud, who was limited on Wednesday, missed the entire week of practice. McCloud has been ruled out, while the other three are listed as "doubtful."
With Mitchell listed as "doubtful," Shanahan noted that the 49ers would "most likely" elevate a running back from the practice squad for Sunday's game. The candidates are Tyrion Davis-Price and Jeremy McNichols.
On the Seahawks' side, quarterback Geno Smith is among several players listed as "questionable."
Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Seahawks, provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are Friday's practice participation reports.
