"I am ready to go," Samuel confidently declared when asked about his health by Kay Adams.
Samuel sustained a hairline fracture in his shoulder during the October 15 game against the Cleveland Browns, which marked the start of the 49ers' current three-game losing streak.
Additionally, the 49ers anticipate the return of tackle Trent Williams next week. The offensive lineman suffered an ankle injury during the same Browns contest and has been inactive for the last two games.
With Samuel and Williams potentially returning soon, the 49ers could emerge from their bye week nearly at full strength. The team will, however, be without guard Aaron Banks for a few weeks due to a turf toe injury.
Samuel, a second-round selection (No. 36 overall) out of South Carolina in 2019, has been a valuable asset for San Francisco. This season, he has accumulated 20 receptions for 302 receiving yards, a receiving touchdown, 95 rushing yards on 18 carries, and a rushing touchdown through six starts, per Pro Football Reference.
