"I wanted to be a leader on the field and off," Davis told Wilson. "I'm a relentless, smart, nasty ballhawk safety. That's what Utah built in me. As a teammate, I'm going to be there for them. If they need anything, I'm there and I put them first. That's who I'm going to war with."
Davis (6-1, 207) registered 63 tackles, 0.5 tackles for a loss, an interception, and a forced fumble through 14 game appearances as a senior in 2021, per Sports Reference. He recorded 94 tackles, two tackles for a loss, a sack, two passes defensed, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles through his four collegiate seasons.
Davis was named to the 2021 Associated Press Pac-12 All-Conference Second Team and was a 2021 Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention.
While Davis didn't participate in the NFL Scouting Combine, he participated in Utah's Pro Day, where the defensive back recorded a 9-foot-10 broad jump, a 32.5-inch vertical leap, a 4.43 short shuttle, and a 7.28 three-cone drill. He also benched 225 pounds 13 times.
