- WR Dante Pettis was already ruled out for Sunday. The 49ers will also be without WR Marquise Goodwin.
- Like Pettis, RB Matt Breida was already ruled out earlier in the week.
- TE Garrett Celek spent the week in the concussion protocol and will miss Sunday's game.
Rams notes:
- The NFL's No. 2 leading rusher, RB Todd Gurley, will miss his second-straight game. He has been ruled out for Sunday.
- The Rams defense will also be without S Lamarcus Joyner.
