SANTA CLARA — Deebo Samuel took part in his second practice with the 49ers, and he is needed more than ever with another setback to the team’s receiving corps.Samuel had an active day of practice, as he did a little bit of everything. And his long-time teammates seem thrilled.
“Deebo is the best,” 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk said. “He’s such an incredible teammate. He’s such a good friend. He’s an incredible football player. We’re happy to have him in the locker room because he brings the best vibes.
“We’re also happy to have him on the field because he’s still got juice, and he can still go out there and make good plays.”
And Samuel is needed more than ever because of the attrition the 49ers have experienced at wide receiver early in training camp.
