SANTA CLARA — After trading back twice, the 49ers might not be done quite yet.The 49ers enter Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft with the first pick of the second round after the 32-selection first round came to a conclusion late Thursday.“The cool thing about the 33rd pick is it puts you in a really nice (spot),” 49ers general manager John Lynch said. “We can reconvene, reset our board, reset our thoughts, and it’s also a coveted pick.”The 49ers watched as players at positions of need flew off the board.
