SANTA CLARA — Brock Purdy’s absence for the 49ers’ third practice of training camp was a noteworthy event.But it was nothing compared to the life-changing experience he and his wife, Jenna, were experiencing away from the team’s training facility.“We obviously knew our due date was going to be July 25th,” Purdy told NBC Sports Bay Area. “So any time around that area, I’d probably have to bounce out of football and go be there for Jenna and enjoy our baby coming into the world.”Coach Kyle Shanahan and everyone around the team knew that Purdy might have to leave at a moment’s notice to be at his wife’s side.“So I got two practices in, and then sure enough on our due date,” Purdy said. “I called Kyle early in the morning. I was like, ‘I think this is it; this is the day our baby’s coming.’“So I didn’t go to practice. It was the best day of our life, having our little Millie girl born and being there for Jenna.
