Report: 49ers will host Myles Garrett for pre-draft visit

Niners general manager John Lynch was in attendance today at Texas A&M's pro day in College Station Texas, where the star attraction, pass-rusher Myles Garrett, said he would have a pre-daft visit with the 49ers. Garrett told the Houston Chronicle he has upcoming visits scheduled with the 49ers, who have the No. 2 overall pick, and the Bears, who select No. 3. The have the fifth-fewest sacks (61) in the NFL over the past two seasons and outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks, who has a team-high 12.5 sacks since 2015, turned 33 on March 14. Garrett, who had 31 sacks and 47 tackles for losses in his three-season college career, is an obvious target. The 49ers met with LSU safety Jamal Adams at the NFL combine, a source said.
