Zuttah has served as the Ravens' starting center for the past three seasons and will presumably compete for first-string status with Kilgore, 29, who has missed 23 games since 2014 because of a broken ankle and torn hamstring. Last year, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, the Falcons offensive coordinator, was a major reason Atlanta signed Pro Bowl center Alex Mack. The Ravens were planning to release Zuttah and his $3.5 million base salary in each of the next two seasons reportedly was a factor in their decision. A 2008 third-round pick of the Buccaneers, Zuttah was traded to the Ravens in 2014 for a fifth-round pick.
