The San Francisco 49ers open the 2026 preseason as they host the Tennessee Titans at Levi's Stadium. This matchup marks the third overall preseason contest between the two teams and the first in the Bay Area, as the Titans have won each of the previous two meetings.
San Francisco returns multiple key starters from last season's roster that reached the NFC Divisional Round, including AP First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections FB Kyle Juszczyk and RB Christian McCaffrey, as well as Second-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection T Trent Williams. The 49ers look to again feature a top offense in the NFL, led by QB Brock Purdy and TE George Kittle, while the defense welcomes the return of its leaders in LB Fred Warner and DL Nick Bosa.
