Collins enters his second NFL season after being selected out of Texas by the 49ers in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he appeared in 16 games with one start, totaling 17 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
With Collins activated, three players remain on the 49ers' PUP list: running back Isaac Guerendo (pectoral), tight end George Kittle (Achilles), and defensive end Mykel Williams (ACL).
