The NFL will unveil its full 272-game schedule for the 2026 season tonight at 5:00 p.m. PT. As is often the case, several week-by-week matchups have already begun leaking ahead of the official announcement. This tracker compiles those early San Francisco 49ers-related reports as the countdown to the full schedule release continues.

As usual, the 49ers will face each NFC West rival twice. They'll also play the third-place teams from the NFC North (Minnesota Vikings), NFC South (Atlanta Falcons), and AFC East (Miami Dolphins). In addition, San Francisco's schedule includes matchups against every team from the NFC East and AFC West.

The 2026 NFL season will kick off on Wednesday, September 9, with the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks hosting the opener at Lumen Field. The season will conclude with Super Bowl LXI on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California—the home of the Los Angeles Rams.

The 49ers are also set to play two international games in the 2026 season. San Francisco will open the year as the road team against the Rams in Melbourne, Australia, marking the NFL's first regular-season game in the country. The team will also host a game against the Vikings in Mexico City later in the season.

Below is a list of confirmed or reported 49ers games, including known dates, times (if available), and sources. Once the NFL officially releases the full schedule, a complete game-by-game breakdown will follow in a separate article.
